TCL announces new location, career training in Colleton County
The Technical College of the Lowcountry is excited to announce a new location in Colleton County, thanks to a special partnership with the 科尔顿成人学习中心 and the Colleton County School District.
“This collaboration is a game-changer for TCL and Colleton,” TCL President Dr. 理查德·高夫说. “We are thrilled to have a physical presence in the community and look forward to serving more residents as they work toward reaching not only their educational and career goals but also their financial goals.”
社区 education officials are echoing their excitement for the project.

Housed at the 科尔顿成人学习中心, TCL Colleton is offering fast-track industrial, computer and allied health courses through its Kozak Office of 员工发展. 类 include certified nurse aide (CNA), 放血, 医疗行政助理, 认证生产技术员, CompTIA和更多.
课程在晚上举行, and most are delivered through a unique online-learning format featuring live teaching from certified instructors. The CNA and 放血 courses are taught in-person by expert faculty at the Center’s fully equipped labs.

菲利普·泰勒 of Walterboro is serving as the TCL Colleton County 劳动力 Solutions Manager and says he is eager to help students get started.
“These classes offer real-world skills training that will lead to great jobs that pay well right here in our community and beyond,泰勒说. “加, the courses can be completed in just a few months or less and that means students can get into their new careers fast.”
Taylor says that having a Colleton location is important and that offering onsite support is critical to making the project a continued success.
“Because of our partnership with the Adult Learning Center, we have a great team available to offer onsite support to help our students from application to graduation,他说. “我是 excited to be a part of making it happen.”
